Background:
American fashion model and actress Summer Altice became famous for being Playboy
Playmate of the Month for August 2000. She has appeared in numerous magazines,
including YM, Stuff, Gear and Max. The brown-eyed, brown-haired beauty is also
known for having small roles in such films as The Scorpion King (2002), Grind
(2003), Wedding Crashers (2005) and You, Me and Dupree (2006).
5’ 10½” tall Altice, whose measurements are 34B-22-33, was listed as one of
Maxim Magazine’s “Hot 100” in 2002 and in 2005, and one of Stuff magazine’s “102
Sexiest Women In The World” in 2002. She earned nicknames Spitfire and Sunshine.
Commenting about her nickname, she said, “Being 5’ 10”, I was supposed to be too
short to play college volleyball. So that gave me the hunger and the fire to
say, Oh yeah? I’d just hit the crap out of the ball. I got the nickname Spitfire
for a reason--I burned inside to play volleyball. I loved the competition of
it.”
In 2000 many magazines and newspapers reported that Ms. Altice was the cause
Helen Hunt split from husband Hank Azaria. But, she quickly dusted the rumors by
proclaiming her romantic relationship with Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst. The bond
lasted longer than most estimated but sadly, Altice has since found a new beau
in Hollywood chunk Vin Diesel.
