Film work knocked on her door in 1982 when renowned filmmaker Steven Spielberg
cast her in the huge sci-fi movie ET: The Extra-Terrestrial. In the film, she
appeared as the pretty young girl who kissed Henry Thomas. After disappearing
for six years, Eleniak returned to the screen in the late of 1980s as a stunning

animals... though animals can be challenging at times in the film making
process. I always have had a lot of fun working with them. As for the finished
product, even though it's weird watching myself on screen, I really enjoyed the
movie. It was everything I hoped it would be. It would have been fun to do
another one." Erika Eleniak
