Tall conventionally handsome Broadway musical lead who has also appeared in much TV and the occasional film since the early 1970s. Bostwick starred as Danny Zucco in the original production of "Grease" (1972), won a Tony for "The Robber Bridegroom" (1976), and eventually played Nick Charles in the long-delayed, short-lived musical "Nick and Nora" based on Dashiell Hammett's "The Thin Man Stories". Bostwick made his first film impression as nerdy innocent, Brad Majors, in the camp cult classic, "The Rocky Horror Show" (1975) and went on to a number of less memorable films including "Movie Movie" (1978), an affectionate spoof of a 1930s double feature, "Weekend at Bernie's II" (1993), and some direct-to-video releases. He had a rare--and best forgotten--starring role in the awful action-comedy "Megaforce" (1982).
